Grand Opening of Paper Tales
This past weekend, I went to the Grand Opening of a cute little shop called Paper Tales. It has the biggest selection of AMuse stamps aside from the AMuse store in Seattle. Michelle, the owner, had the cutest stuff.
When I got to Paper Tales, I knew there were classes being offered, but I figured they were all full. I decided I should just ask. Well, good thing I did because there was room! But, I didn’t have any supplies with me. Valerie was there, yes *the* Valerie, and she was so sweet to let me use her supplies!
I had an opportunity to take a class offered by the Founder and Prinicpal Designer of AMuse, Linda Carnell. Helping out with the class was Linda’s mother, Vi. Vi reproduces all the samples for AMuse and is the Queen of Mass Production. She was a lovely lady and very knowledgeable on how to get things to look just right. Linda and her mother were so cute. I just had to take a picture of them together.
We made six cards and they were all so cute! This class had a lot of “firsts” for me. It was my first time to see AMuse stamps and products in person and to actually use them. *gasp* It was also my first time to use Copics. Oh my goodness, I am in love! These markers were fabulous!
Here are thumbnails of the cards we made. Click on the thumbnail to see a bigger picture. To get back here, hit your back button. Thanks for looking!
